Wales Hot 100 Company - 2005 Quality Counts

June 2007

07/06/2007
There is a new menu for the summer being rolled out this month.  We are asking parents for any ideas on what the children might like and introducing new foods such as courgettes and kidney beans.  The tea time menu will also be lighter to allow the children to have sandwhiches in our lovely garden.

Our hairdressing and ironing service is going from strength to strength with an additional 50p per bag of ironing going towards our fund raising outdoor suits fund.  We have currently made £350.00 from our fundraising including commission from Active photography who came to take pictures of the children last month.  I have to say the photos were fantastic and captured the children playing and posing naturally and informally.

We have also had success from selling our children's uniforms.  These come in a wide variety of colours and sizes with polo shirts and jumpers at reasonable prices with our great nursery logo on. The children look really smart!

The company is unfortunately closing it's doors in our out of school club in Caerphilly after 6 years but will be moving on to open a new club in Gwaelod y Garth. The club operates in partnership with the primary school and is a seperate business under our head office at Whitchurch. Look out for more information soon on our fun Station Out of School  page.

We have signed up again this year to take part in the Barnardos sponsored toddle.  This is where the children take part in walking/running around a course laid out in our garden, they will be dressing up and having a lovely time.  The money raised will go towards helping children who need support form Barnardos.  At nursery we appreciate supporting all worthwhile charities and are happy to take part.
